ginny_tDaisy made me a present:
Wasn't that sweet of her? Grr. I suppose I'd seen all the warning signs. The other day, she even reached into a bag hanging from the chair she was sitting on and pulled out a ball of yarn to attack. Fortunately, I was right there and put a stop to that. (Yes, all my yarn is now put away. Okay, almost all the yarn. There's a lot.)
In case you're worried, I did this:

There are crazy people on Ravelry who make tangly snarls just to untangle them. I enjoy untangling: it's as close as I get to meditation, and it's nice to make order out of disorder. However, There's no call to be making a nasty mess just to clean it up; life'll provide plenty of messes.
In other news, I continue to get my shit together. Yesterday, I took a bunch of stuff to Value Village and gave in, after years of resisting, and bought a microwave. It takes up a lot of precious counter space. I'll have to work on this.
