Also, the other day I read a look at how the last two presidential administrations were covered in their first days (anyone wanna guess which got flayed within days of taking office and which got the kid glove treatment?). It continued to speculate how the media would treat the Obama administration.

Well, Salon's got the answer. (Complete with a twist of the cliché for added misogyny and scary black dude violence. Good times.) [Disclaimer: I didn't read the whole Salon article. The first paragraph bounced me out hard.]

All this being socially responsible is tiring. I'ma go lookit otters now.

I just read the whole Salon article. They only FINALLY mention on the second page that, while the people Obama has been picking for his cabinet are "Clintonites", people who worked under Clinton are really the only people with any experience the Democrats have to choose from. The last Democrat president was Jimmy Carter, and people who worked under him likely have retired from public service.
