The worst thing about last night's TTC fuckery was that I got home too late and cranky to sit down with Criminal Minds. I'd timed it perfectly, too--I watched up to the penultimate episode of S3 on Wednesday, planning to watch the cliffhanger and season premier last night. *grumble*

But seriously, WTF, TTC? Okay, so electrical and signal problems at Eglinton mean that the trains stop running at Bloor? Why not run them to Davisville, y'know, where there's a train yard and three platforms!!!!! (For the Toronto-deprived, Bloor is a Really Bad Place for northbound trains to stop running, and rather far from Eglinton, which is a fairly major station. Davisville is one stop south of Eglinton, and a short walk.) *grumble*

In other news, I want to make sure I didn't give the wrong impression the other day. I'm very happy for RL friend who'll be coming to work with me. I was being a silly goofhead the other day. (Still, if she turns out to be better at it than me--well, she'll be extremely good--I might sulk a little, but I'll get over it.)

They eventually did run it to Davisville; when I got on the subway at 10:30ish they were still turning back at Bloor, but by 11 or so they had moved up to Davisville. So that was going on all night? Geeez.

They were still experiencing trouble by 10:30? They said it would be fixed by 7:30....I was also caught up in this foolishness. It took me 2 and half hours to get home by going to Downsview and taking the Sheppard across to get home. I don't understand why it had to affect so many stations. I wish for your sake they did run the trains up to Davisville.
