I just watched the trailers in this post. Add to that the Indiana Jones movie and the whole Bond phenomenon, and I'm wondering if there's so much wanton destruction in movies to feed commercialism. After all, if one "hero" can cause destruction like that, why can't a normal person replace their phone every six months or $gadget every $timeframe?

The more I think about humanity, the less happy I am to be part of it.
