I'm watching the Ghibli adaptation and I've had to turn it off. When Sparrowhawk rescues only Arren from the slavers, is that the book or the adaptation? It fills me with ire.
Ghibli movies are not supposed to make me snark and snarl and swear.
I'm kind of glad it's been so long that I don't remember. I spent most of Howl going "that's not what happened..." It'd be nice when they make a movie adaptation that they, you know, take more then just the title and the character names and a general gist of the story.
