A little grumbling about the end (and no, it's not teh ghei *eyeroll*†). I'm a little squicked about Jake and Martha falling for each other at the same time Jake's dad and Martha's mom fall for each other. (Yes, purposely using light language: it's helping me cope.) The simultaneous pregnancies are just that little dash of oogy on top of the squick. Sure, I see the point of all the babies being born at the end of this particular story, but I can't get over the oogy-squick. I'll deal, I guess. (Still, there were other couples in the book who could've supplied the other sprogling.)
Also, heliocentrism was Copernicus. Galileo did lots of other nifty shit (including getting in a lot of trouble with the church for promoting heliocentrism), but he didn't come up with that one. (I guess, like the funny punctuation, I'll chalk that up to Jake and not to Robin. Ohboy the run-on sentences and comma splices! *whimper*)

robinmckinley posted a very vitriolic (and warranted) rant about a letter she got from a reader's mother, who complained that her child (daughter?) thought the whole book had been ruined by 2 paragraphs. *eyeroll*
