Just read ch. 149; like 148, it's a little frustrating with the set-up. The short CLAMP chapters frustrate me a little. (On the other hand, having read the WTF?! of the latest TRC chapter, I guess the alternative of short chapters and set-up isn't so bad.)

The thing that gets me though is the realisation that the whole Watanuki-is-sleeping storyline just petered out. He just woke up. What was the point of it all? Just to get him to be the best possible Watanuki he could be? He was already a good 95% there. Sure, I like the new tolerant-of-Doumeki Watanuki (although I loves me the spaztacity), but that's it? He just woke up? *eyeroll* (Then again, in the context of the TRC WTF?!, it's suddenly not so bad.)

It's certainly not enough to make me truly angry with CLAMP, but I do think it's lame storytelling. :(

This is CLAMP we're talking about. If they ever explained things in any sort of fashion, the world would shatter. ~_~

But I know what you mean. It's making me all snarly-- but compared to TRC, it's not so bad.

After reading TRC 178 and my brain exploding I think Id take short chapter set up. I need to catch up in Holic anyways.
