Jan. 5th, 2008 01:57 pmWhen I'm Queen of All (especially tea, yarn, and fuzzy kitty bellies), all filmmakers (including TV) will be forbidden to use Beethoven's 9th. Verboten!
(I adore Beethoven's 9th with mad adoration. I detests its ubiquitousness equally.)
[Filmmakers wanting to make the story of Beethoven will be exempt from this rule. However, they'll have a hard time convincing me that they can do better than has already been done with Immortal Beloved.]

Date: 2008-01-05 06:58 pm (UTC)The music couldn't be because I'd just been subjected to it in yet another amateurish attempt at juxtaposing the beautiful uplifting music with the destructive stupidity of humanity. (I'm still rather cranky about it, as you can tell.)
