They're keeping me for real. I got paid. ^_^

I do not like days where the forecast is "temperature falling". *shivers*

I think there should be a rule that if Miss Daisy forces her way onto my lap for her lying and purring pleasure, she ought to be obliged to stay there and keep me warm. She doesn't agree.

I'm very close to accomplishing a sekkrit projekt that will leave me in a position to laugh at the cold. LAUGH.

There's something nice about that first paycheck, isn't there? I get paid every two weeks, so I've received a one-week check, but tomorrow I'll get my first "real" one. Small though it may be, it should at least cover the cost of oil this winter.

Do we get to know what the seekrit project is when it's done?

This one was just for one week (and not even a full one because of a holiday). *sigh* The quirks of the pay cycle. Still, an excellent sign. ^_^
