The timing is a little weird. :/ And the whole situation with the writers is painful. Poor writers! (And actors, and everyone else. ;_;)
Nope, I think I feel good about the list. The only other real temptations were S2 of Carnivale (which isn't in stock, and getting two seasons of something sight unseen seems silly), and the complete Oz, which I've heard good things about but which may not be my thing. ^^ (Plus, SIX seasons sight unseen. O_O)
BTW, I think I know why you're not having problems with Gmail--yours is probably set to UK English, right? Apparently that's not affected. I just flipped my settings to that.
I checked - nope display language is US English. At work, I'm forced to use IE. I just checked here on FF, and it's using > for the conversations. Yuck. I think I'll be changing that.
In the spirit of full disclosure, Carnivale S2 is dreadfully expensive at normal prices. New here, it's ~$95. This deal is crazymad.
Oh, weird. >.< I poked around their help discussions, and it sounds like lots of people are annoyed with this "new" version (and there's no way to just switch it off, I guess).
*fidget* That's a terrifying price difference. I don't know. (It also doesn't help that S2 claims it'll ship in 1-3 weeks, where everything else I want is in stock right now. -_-)
