Feb. 21st, 2007 08:03 pmThe Book City of Visa Damnation continues to live up to its name.
jez_e_bel has continued her tradition of handing me a book that must go home with me - a book about Harriette Wilson, a courtesan who published memoirs after her patrons wouldn't pay for her old age.
This is what I get for being so open about my Historical Whores fascination. I also got a book about Henry VIII's 6 wives (divorced-beheaded-died-divorced-beheaded-survived ^_^) and one about scientific discoveries in the 17th Century. I am pleased with the dorktacular nature of my purchases. ^_^
One of these days, I should actually read these books. Yeah, right - that would deplete the hoard! ^_^
In other news, we've released Kokumono 29. Torrent! Sashiburi, ne? (Nope, I don't know how to spell that - it's what I get for "learning" this stuff from anime.)
