Watched 32 & 33 of Kokumono. :D Not the squee-fest of 29, but not the "what's going on?" of 30. One brief flash in 32 made my little heart so happy. Vengeful? Me? *innocent look*

*scowls at download* Hurry up, 34!

I've also finished watching Welcome to the NHK! I quite liked it. In fact, I might even watch it again after some time has passed. Even the ending pleased me, although there was some "are you nuts?!", but it was in character. I should warn you that an ending that pleases me often doesn't please the rest of the world. Also, I have a very low tolerance for characters making fools of themselves. It reminds me too much of how easy it is for me to do that. Considering that, it's quite surprising that I made it through all of Satou-kun's foolishness. Still, I liked.

But, considering that I've given up on NANA (for now at least, I might go back later), I need a show to watch. *ponders* There's that show that everyone was all excited about but has been licensed and subbing has "stopped". But — shounen! *twitch* Or there's the Wallflower. But I've heard such mixed things about that and I gave up on the manga. *ponder* Anyone have any suggestions? (Maybe I should get my Ysa to drop a disc of Ouran into the mail for me. You'd think that considering the hoard (curls around hoard protectively, "my preciousssssss"), I would have things to watch. Actually, I do, but…)

For now, I shall go back to snarking at Torchwood. I tell ya, if I didn't love Capt. Jack so, this rubble of cliché would've been ejected long ago.

The Ginny-meister said: "I tell ya, if I didn't love Capt. Jack so, this rubble of cliché would've been ejected long ago."

Thank you!! I couldn't agree more. It's sorta slick for the BBC, I'll give it that. But yeah. Utterly clichéd and takes itself too seriously. It's a shame in a way.

BTW, *really* enjoying the Saiunkoku Monogatari fansub! Thanks for the link!

YOU need stuff to watch? :P

If shounen shows're out, then Nodame's your best new bet:

Shounen's not out entirely, but the ridiculously long things like Bleach are. I have a couple eps of DN, so I'll probably watch those.

And I have the first ep of Nodame - thanks for the reminder. ^_^

*shudder* Just watched the Fight Club rip off. *grumblesnarl* If not for the fact that there's only 2 episodes left, I might be done entirely. And whyohwhy does every season Davies touches have to have a "Bad Wolf"-type thing?!

Glad you're liking Kokumono! I think Ghost Hunt might be right up your alley too. ^_^ (Or that could be my recent obsession with it talking.)

I've been watching Wallflower and I recently borrowed the first two manga from the library. The anime seems to be better than the manga by far, but it's still not something I'd pay money for (that anime is fluff, but fun fluff).

I've got all of Ouran if you need it.

Torchwood didn't do it for me either. I didn't hate it, but I don't love it either. Someday I'll download more than the few eps I have of it now, but until then it's not going to bug me that I don't have it.

Ouran! I'll let you know if I decide to move that up the queue. The hoard is deep and wide — I was just panicking the other day. I do have S1 of VM, after all…

Although I vengefully deleted Torchwood the second it was done, it's still on the external hard drive. If you like, I can hold off on deleting it forever until after you've nabbed what you need.

If you could hold off on the Torchwood delete it would be much appreciated. What's the best way for me to get the files from you?

I've been watching the raws of Kokumono on YouTube. I don't speak Japanese at all except for recognizing a couple handfuls of words, so you can imagine how it's going.

Ep34 didn't look all that interesting to me unless you really dig Kokujou and Shuunki (I'm ambivalent). But, to each their own!

Ouran is worth watching. Beautiful production values, great eye candy, cute story and I dug the heroine a lot. It ain't heavy by any means but I liked it quite a bit. I have it all so if you'd like it, please let me know.

I can do that. Since I don't have a DVD burner, you can either get CDs with 2 eps each, or I can bring my external hard drive round your place after the move (or you can bring yours here). I could snag Ouran at the same time. ^_^

I'm digging 34 because the story's coming to a climax. I like resolution (and seeing Ensei & Seiran kick ass). And I like the standoff at the end. (How many days 'til Saturday?!)

Thanks for the Ouran offer! Someone's hooked me up already. ^_^

It will probably be a much more intriguing episode when the characters are not just going "wah wah wah" like Charlie Brown's mother to my uneducated ears. :) This really isn't the kind of series you can watch raw and figure out what's really going on....

That said, thank you SO much for your fansub work. I prefer your and Shadow's work to the other group that's doing this series. It's interesting to compare the translations!

It's so true. And still I watch it raw. *sigh*

Glad you're enjoying the subs! ^_^
