Connection is extra cranky today. :(

I'm still trying to find the right Indian food staple, now that milk isn't allowed. :(

I left my bank card in the machine today. :(((((((( At least it happened on the last day of metropass-having, and it cost me only dignity and worry. And there was the Ginnyisanidiot self-castigation.

I have Eats, Shoots & Leaves. For $7. I love clearance book stores. I have some other extremely geeky books. Like a history of nutmeg. *smug* If anyone sees A History of Red (I think that's what it's called) remaindered, let me know, please? I'madork. But I'm a completist dork.

If Chris at Bakka is to be believed (and she's always to be believed), we lost 2˚C an hour today. *wail*

bunches. it's a temporary location a few doors down from Sunrise on Yonge near Bloor. There's no sign at all, so look for "for lease" signs in the window. (I would've missed it entirely if DJ hadn't pointed it out to me.)

(p.s. you mentioned something about the mac address. how do I get the rogers people to check this? things are getting worse quickly. a lot worse.)

i'm not sure if rogers locks your service to your mac address, though. i guess we'd have to find that out first. and i don't even know if that would make a difference, knowing that... so... not sure how to proceed exactly. i guess i/you/we need to do some kind of research...

and i guess you've searched through broadbandreports.com forums for similar problems with rogers (although i find that site to be very difficult to navigate and not always useful)?

I'm inclined to doubt it's the MAC address thing... Eastlink does that, and if you try to connect from an unrecognized MAC, it's an immediate failure every time. Not that you can be totally sure...
