Miscellany? (Or just GIP)

ginny_tAll caught up on NANA anime now. What a bunch of messed up people!
I don't think I've mentioned Welcome to the NHK! I'm 10 episodes in, 8 behind, and I'm still not certain about it. It's one of those ones where I'm going along on the ride, but if it ends in a bad place, ooohboy, look out! Endings are very important. Storytellers should remember that. (For one, there should be an ending (Hot Gimmick!, I'm looking at you), and if possible, it should be a good one.)
Oh, look, nested parentheses! Maybe I'm back to my usual postiness, instead of staccato bursts of out-of-context vignettes? Or maybe not.
I had a very lazy weekend. It was just the thing. Back to Shadow-work! (BTW, we're starting a third series. I really like this one. ^_^ (Not that I don't like the others, but this one has cute and bishies! Rolled into one, in one case. ^_^))
*pets parentheses* I know I nest them wrong, but it's my own system. And there is a system. So nyah!

Date: 2006-11-13 02:37 pm (UTC)I ask because I stopped watching it by about episode 8 because it was just too much like the manga and I wasn't enjoying it since I was reading the manga at pretty much the exact same time. Too much overlap! If it's any different eventually I might start watching again.
I'm liking Ghost Hunt... well, I liked the one episode at least (yeah Ginny! edited subs!). Is there anything else I should be watching? Should I maybe try the Welcome to the NHK! you speak of?

There's also something called Assatte no Houkou that I'm downloading, but haven't watched yet. It's getting pretty good reviews.
And there's Shounen Onmyouji! With the cute! So cute! ^_^ But wait a few days for that one. ^_~
