It's going to be a noisy weekend…

Must be Labour Day weekend: I can hear a lot of plane noises. Definitely a propeller, and I think I heard a Snowbird-type jet. Do the Snowbirds still fly? (hahaha! I originally had that as Thunderbirds, but I knew something wasn't right about it. ^_^) Ah, happy memories. Before I was too misanthropic for the Ex. (Why is there a word for hating women, but no word for hating men specifically? Oh yeah, nevermind…)

Daisycat is squirrelly today. *points & laughs* The problem is that she wants nothing more than to curl up on my lap & nap all day. Between things like knitting and needing to move my body at least once an hour, it's not working so well for her. Heeeee! I just watched her burrow under the covers on my bed. The problem? Sharra is laying on top of those same covers. Poor patient puppycat.

akari_kazuki has officially opened the FB *fret*. Still & all, I'll take it & run with it. Because I fret like nobody else. *fret*

On the subject of *fret*: on Monday, I'm leading the chapter 16 discussion on randomfandom; it's my first one. *fret!*

Randomfandom is a forum devoted to Fruits Basket, my obsession. A while ago (15½ weeks to be exact), they started chapter-by-chapter discussions. Considering that the release is up to 131 (soon to be 132 *impatient flail*), there's a lot to discuss. And for my first chapter, I foolishly picked a pretty nuanced one. Oh well, it'll be fine. *shakes fist*

First thing this morning, while entering the office building, I saw four World War II Harvard trainers in RAF/RCAF training yellow doing a "missing man" formation. Thrilling, and a little scary: their wingtips were close enough to aaaalmost touch.

And yes, the Snowbirds still fly, in 1960's era Tutor jets, doing things that amaze other flying teams due to the physical and mental demands on the pilots. Go Snowbirds!!
