Okay, this is just awesome!

Spent much time in Indigo today with Stuart. I won't point & laugh & say "Stuart hasn't read x", because he could retaliate in kind. *sigh*

To my great shame, I've requested a Mercedes Lackey book from the library. It's just that I quite enjoyed The Fairy Godmother. No, it wasn't all that well-written, or all that original a story, but it was a nifty concept. This one is a new story written in the same world. Ominous, innit? I just hope she hasn't crawled out of her previous pit of suck only to fall into a new one.

On the subject of potential Pit of Suck™, Dennis McKiernan has written 2 (so far) follow-ups to Once Upon a Winter Night. They're also on my request list. They could suck. I hope not, because I quite like the first book, and don't want subsequent suck to ruin things.

I've bought 5 books in 2 days. O_o 4 of them were from the remaindered table. *smug* One of them has the dreaded & evil untrimmed edges. I seriously considered not buying it because of that.

Still hot. Had a headache all day. Just rain, damnit!
