A question for the FAQ
Jul. 28th, 2006 08:52 amBut it's quite specific…
On Wednesday, my USB keychain was acting silly. (Again!) So I decided to reformat it. Which I did using Disk Utility. Yesterday, we went to put a file onto it from the other notetaker's computer. She's running the shiny-blue windows. Is that MX? *shrug* It wouldn't recognise the keychain.
So, I reformatted it again this morning, and this time I chose MS-DOS File System from the drop down. It did it just fine, but then my computer wouldn't recognise it! Well hell, that's no good! So, I did it again, and switched it back to Mac OS Extended (Journaled), and it's working fine so far.
Anyone have any ideas? Frankly, I think she ought to just run Linux, and then our problems would be solved! ^_^
