Damn you Rou! First you bully Shuurei & Eigetsu, and then you make my Kouyuu sad?! I hate you! I don't care if in a later scene you seem to be showing doubts and more than one dimension! My Kouyuu!
Chibi-Kouyuu! (Wow, his name is hard for me to type. O.o) And drunk & belligerent Kouyuu! Drunk & belligerent & yelling at the emperor. o.O Oh! I just had a thought? Was he yelling at Ryuuki to be closer to Seiran? *ponders*
On the subject, what's with Ryuuki slipping up with "aniue" so much? That's supposed to be a big secret! But drunken Ryuuki tugging on aniue's sleeve (and bemoaning lack of progress with Shuurei? or just general "Shuurei is being bullied and I can't help" situation?) so cute! *squee*
I liked the dynamic between Kouyuu & Shuuei in this episode. It was much the same, but with Kouyuu hurting (damnit!), Shuuei helped. It was nice.
And the awesomeness of Shouka continues. I can even start to forgive him for his perpetually-closed eyes. Maybe. Wow! The transformation in Reishin when Shouka walked in the room. O.O Poor Kouyuu. *pets*
*wonders what Ryuuki gave to Eigetsu and why Seiran's name came up so much in that conversation*
And I'm curious about Seiran in general. He's always so respectful and circumspect to everyone. Even when Ryuuki is drunk & calling him aniue, he's calling him shujou (sp?). I wonder what's going on inside his head. I really want more Ensei. Because he's awesome, and because he knows post-exile Seien, before he "disappeared".
Seien would be 26, right? (I remember reading that, probably in Shadow's notes somewhere.) And he was exiled 13 years ago. What the hell can a 13-year-old boy do to warrant exile?! I'm still perplexed by the timeline, because when Ryuuki was a child, he wasn't in line for the throne. (After the previous emperor died, there was a battle for the throne, after all.) *puzzles* *waits* I will wait to see how this gets explained. It's just a little thing, but … !
So, who's surprised that in the "Kouyuu is broken" episode, he becomes "My Kouyuu"? *_*
