In my building, hot and cold water switch up so often (especially during showers) that they've actually written a claus for them in the lease agreement. Our buildings are old! Sucks.

I hate when this happens in my building. Notices do get posted but when I forget about them or fail to see them in time it's a rude awakening. And they do it entirely too often in my building. Grrr, it's almost as bad as the freaking false fire alarms that go off everytime some idiot (who apparently hasn't figured it out yet) cooks something that produces smoke.
