I guess Tohru doesn't know that Akito's decided not to imprison Kyo. Not that it matters anymore. Just thinking. After all, the mere mention of his name makes her cry, so no one would've told her.

What the hell is with Shuurei in this episode?! Why doesn't she clue into the fact that Eigetsu's taking the kaishi when Ryuuki & Kouyuu do?! She's a bright woman, and she has a token too! *grumble* And then, when Kouyuu & Ryuuki are so upset that the Seikintou are targeting token-holders, she still doesn't get it! Hopefully, she's at least learned to have her back to the wall, rather than the room, when searching the unconscious. ~_^

I just can't see Seiran as a love interest for Shuurei. She grew up with him! It's the Shinogu thing all over again - too close, regardless of actual blood relation. Although, I guess in this case, there was never the pretense of being siblings. Still. Ryuuki!

I do love Kochou. ^_^ Shadow, please tell me that she's not done?

I really hope that Kouyuu had at least 2 (maybe 3) very uncomfortable conversations to explain why he took Shuurei from the safety of the warehouse into the battle. On the other hand, I was pleased that it wasn't one of those typical "love interest saves her again" things. My fangirlish heart is warmed by the fact that when Shuurei's flying through the air, it's Ryuuki's name she calls. *_*

I'm not sure I like the Eigetsu/Yougetsu thing. I was already with the "what, he has only one eye?!", and now we see that Yougetsu is the one with two eyes?! (And sake, don't forget the sake!) I hope we don't see Yougetsu too much.

Kochou sits in the presence of the Emperor, but stands as soon as she sees old boss-guy?! I still love her, though. ^_^ My brain is a badbad thing. It thought very naughty things when Kochou was sinking out of sight. *hangs head*

argh Seiran hasn't done anything blatant that makes me want
to pairing him with Shuurei as bad as I like ryuuki/Shuurei.
Ryuuki has put all the moves and given her all the puppy dog
looks that i just can't help it lol ^__^;;

*nods* Yeah, there's nothing from Seiran himself to indicate that he thinks of her as anything other than a kid sister. It's more Ryuuki's jealousy. (And the fangirls who like that pairing.)

*sigh* I know what you mean, but it's even harder to see the possibility in the anime. It's a bit more blatantly aiming at Ryuuki x Shuurei compared to the original novels. I like seeing Seiran and Shuurei together more than I like Ryuuki, but at the same time, I can't really see it in the romantic sense. -_-;

Umm... actually, other than Yougetsu, Kouyuu's the one who really saves Shuurei in this story. In the novel, he slashes the thug who grabbed her in the leg and when he let's go of her, Kouyuu then holds her to him and pushes her to the floor shielding her from any further attack with his body when Yougetsu intervenes. ^__^

Kochou... I don't know how much we see her, but she plays a definite role in the next story. Unfortunately I don't think we really see her much beyond the next story though. I agree she's an interesting character. ^__^ I love what she told Shuuei. Serves him right. :P

heh... I figured that that the anime had made the rescue more dramatic. Flying through the air - uh-huh. :-p Kouyuu was pretty awesome, even in this, considering he's "only good for searching unconscious thugs". ^_^

I might like Seiran better than Ryuuki as a character. They're both pretty nifty.

BTW, I'm dl'ing the file, and I just noticed it's ep. 11. I shall pass the link along to Ysa. (And watch it myself, because I am nosey and impatient - a deadly combination. ^_^)

Oops, I forgot to email you about this last night. ^^;; I sent the link to both of you since this is the first ep with all the fonts, disclaimer, etc. intact. The original file Ysa got IIRC still had some weirdness happening with the fonts, so this copy would be where any objections to stylistic issues should be brought up. ^_^
