Today at school, I saw a flier for International Women's Day. "don't get in trouble guys, buy her a rose"

I shit you not.

International Women's Day is not the alternate Valentine's Day!!!! It is not to be commercialised into another excuse to make men feel inadequate and women feel underloved. It is supposed to call attention to the plight of women worldwide. That plight does not involve lack of roses!
