Woke up, the curtains were frozen to the condensation on the window. >_<
At 2am, the choice was clip the kitties' claws or lock them out of the bedroom. At 6a, they were crying so much, I let them back in. Now, the puppycat hates me because I clipped her claws (and pulled clumped cat litter out of her back paws - ewwwww!). At least Daisy's too stupid to hold a grudge.
I have to frog my socks back to the heel. *cry* I tried them on last night and figured I could fight the ankle over the heel. (Either that or do a Cinderella's stepsister thing and cut off part of my heel.) Today I realise that I won't be happy with them (and therefore won't wear them) unless I do 'em right. *cry*
At least there's yarn therapy today. I think there'll be chocolate therapy, too.
Oh yeah. I had fun at Gary's last night. Thanks for hosting us. Apologies once again to Phil - you just make it so easy & fun to pick on you! ^_^
Happy birthday, Jason! I hope it's a great one, even if you are working.

Date: 2006-02-19 05:31 am (UTC)there will be yarn and chocolate therapy today for sure. if the situation is severe enough, we will even go out to big carrot and get their hot chocolate. i still haven't been out to little india (and normally i'd see if carma wanted to come too, but she's going to be picking up her hubby from the airport after stitch n brunch), either.
carma and i and the gang will be at butler's pantry (on markham st, a bit south of bloor) at 11, if you want to get some knitting in with us before you move on to cafe crepe. afterwards, where would be good to meet when?

Date: 2006-02-19 05:46 am (UTC)But I'm sending my wife out to comfort you in your time of distress. And if that doesn't work, there's always chocolate.
(I'd mention combining Laura AND chocolate, but that might lead to tales you don't want to hear of ...) ;)
