Today was … odd
Jun. 2nd, 2010 07:26 pmSo I went to work, but felt kinda … woogy. It's a word. Shutup.
On the subject of "it's a word," mid-boss called me a "word nerd of the highest order." (Yes, I remember the exact phrasing. Wouldn't you?) Alas, she was asking about a totally made-up not-a-word that a member has used on repeated occasions. Dude, not even Google knows your word.
Also, I took the tunnel to the building and ended up trapped in there hearing two women behind me having a "kids these days" conversation. That was sorely unfun. (They were talking about texting and IMing and all that, saying "they don't just pick up the phone and all." Praise me, for I did not turn around and insist that of course they don't, because that's disruptive and rude. It is.)
Then I ended up going home at noon because I was still feeling off. I've had lots of ColdFX and soups and tea. I feel okay now, but I know fevers come and go and come and go. I hope this one's gone for a good long time. (Fevers are my weakness.)
