Today was the 60th anniversary of the atomic bomb being dropped on Hiroshima (technically, it was very late on Friday, Zulu time). Thanks to geniusofevil for reminding me.

There's some interesting reading on the subject here. There's some politicising in there which doesn't much thrill me. I think the numbers speak pretty strongly for themselves. I'd also be happier with less villifying and more responsibility taking and learning from the past.
