Shall I weigh in as one of yesterday's berry pickers? Shall I take yet another opportunity to tease Roupen about insisting on picking a tonne of berries and then complaining about having to carry them all over Whittamore's half-acre?

Yep, strawberries. Yummmmm... Actually, strawberry picking is just an excuse to go visit the raspberry bushes and encourage them. (Which I did, complete with motivational speaking and encouraging hugs.)

And yes, I did leave a lot of strawberries in my row. But once Ginny's Elite Berry Program™ was completed, I did open up Ginnania to foreign interests.

So tired. So much jam.

And, because it's Monday morning, the milk curdled in my tea. #$&!@!!!

According to their signs, raspberries will be ready on July 16. Raspberry jam is uber-yumminess.

Mm, berries. Lucky girl. Our black raspberries are starting to appear, but there's nothing like freshly-picked strawberries.

I wish we had real blackberries! I think the red raspberries aren't in fruit yet, although they may just be too far back in the thicket to see...

I love berries, but have never gone picking. Must stop by the farm tomorrow to see if they have more strawberries. And snow peas.... they would go with tomorrow night's soup.
