At AN, His & Her Circumstances (the whole thing) was $75 at Jason's booth. I went away. When I came back, it was gone. Ysa said: "Rightstuf has it for $40 a lot of the time". Rightstuf is selling it for the low, low price of $149.

*cries*

Someone was at my desk after I left yesterday. Everything's moved. Grr!

I'm sick. :-(

*hugs* You know, I have the first DVD of His & Her Circumstances, but I've never actually watched it. (At least it's unwrapped, though, which didn't happen for about a year after I bought it.)

I hope you feel better soon. What sort of sick are you?

I don't know if you've read the manga (which, by the way, I am loving), but it follows very closely. (I have the first DVD, too. Last year, around this time, a friend got it essentially for free and gave it to me.) I'm told that it has something stupid like 6 recap episodes, and doesn't really have an ending. But I love the story, and I want the anime. WANT *ahem* Sorry 'bout that. :-D

I am sore throat and headache sick. As is my roommate and my co-worker. I'm hoping the vitamin C and tea & fluids will kick its ass. Tomorrow's Canada Day and we're going to a picnic on the Islands. I will have fun, I will!

I know I've read the first volume (although I keep thinking it's called something else in manga format - I want to say Kare Kano, but I might just have read the first bit of both stories at the same time), but not any further. I never had a whole lot of money to spend on manga, and my flush ex-roommate was more interested in shonen manga like Berserk! and Lone Wolf & Cub, so I ended up with a lot of first volumes. >_>

I hope so too! Sore throat/headache is no fun, especially near a holiday. But I hope the picnic is a blast! :D

The manga is called Kare Kano. I tried to resist buying it, but got hooked one day when reading a friend's copies. I'm glad I did, though, because it's developed very nicely.

Amazon.com is selling the boxset for roughly $117 USD.

And if you check in the Used and New section people are selling it for as low as $35-$50 USD (plus shipping). The Used and New section is usually pretty good and purchasing through one of those sellers is guaranteed the same as if you bought from amazon.com itself.

I swear they had it for that price about once a month for a long time (it's one of their Weekly Specials, rather than the all-the-time price). I haven't seen it since the con. ;_; (I assume you're checking there on Thursdays for the new specials? But I always check, and will let you know immediately the next time I see it . . . )

On another note, today I miss you lots and lots. :(

No silly - I blame Rightstuf, not you. And I've already spoken to Jason about his guy at CN Anime. So it should be okay.

Actually, I was this close to talking to him about working CN Anime, but then I remembered that Elijah Wood will be there, so I will be far from there. eeep
