I don't think Howl's hot. I think he's a selfish, shallow, selfish boy with too much power, and I don't know why anyone would fall in love with him.

Howl's one of those guys like Dark Schneider...gorgeous and cool, but you wouldn't want to live with them. *lol*

Mind you, I think the thing with Howl is that "I can fix him" mentality. Like he doesn't have his heart, so that's why he's like that. So Sophie wants to help him regain his humanity. *shrug*
