Got to the subway station - crappity! The platform was packed. Fortunately, an empty train pulled up - yay! Doors open, blast of freezing air. Yikes!

I hate air conditioning. >.<

You wouldn't want to smell a crowded subway during the summer heatwaves if it wasn't airconditioned. Sometimes though AC is greatly overdone.

Brrr I know! My dad insists on blasting the AC cuz hes fat and crap XDD so he's all hot, and THEN, I'm in the basement so I'm extra cold! Grrrr. I glomp my kitty to keep me warm XD

Sounds a lot like my mom. Gah! She talks & talks & talks about Caribbean vacations, but as soon as it gets over 25 (ummm... 77?) here, she's got the a/c blasting. Then there was menopause, when she took the thermostat hostage.

Yeah. That reminds me of like last year, when I was living with my mom, for some reason she was having like hot flashes and stuff (not menopause, shes' only 43) and she insisted on having the window out in the living room open. Even in the winter!! So as soon as I came out of my room in the morning to get ready for school, I was DYING of cold oh my god XD

Myself, I think A/C (like so much of modern technology) is great when used right. When it's smoking hot outside, cooling the inside to just above freezing is dumb and obnoxious and makes people sick. Enough A/C to take the edge off a 38C heat-wave ... I'm not gonna say no to that.

Kinda like how computers are great time-saving efficiency-boosting tools... if the software is written with some clue and used in ways that make sense (and yeah, we all know how often that happens).

All of which reminds me of a cute comparison between A/C and computers... They're both useless if you have windows open. :-)
