Okay, so yeah, planning ahead? Whyfor?

Is there anything I'm supposed to do before an academic advising appointment? Anything I'm supposed to bring? I know what course I want to take, so it's really just a formality, but I'd hate to not have what I need.

That said, it'd be pretty rushed to have to dash home & get whatever I need before the appt. That is, provided that what I might need isn't packed away in the Pile o' Boxes (tm). (I miss my lovely Mac. It does the TM symbol for me.)

On the subject, we were talking yesterday about a GinnyBot, to go out & earn me a paycheque. (I guess in that case, it would be a LauraBot. *shudder*) Wonderful Chris pointed out that of course, it would run OS X.

I'd take a notebook, or at least a pad of paper. You've probably got one in your bag.

Are you going to be at Glendon tonight, cause maybe I can come meet you with Addis? Otherwise I sent you a convoluted email about downtown this afternoon or your place at about 6:45pm... let me know!

I don't know my plans - I've been claimed. I won't complain about that. :-D But I do know that I doubt I'll be home at 6:45. I'll be at Glendon from 3 'til the end of my appt, and then I don't know where I'm meeting people. I'll call you when I know what's going on. I know you don't have your cell anymore, will you be home around that time?

If not, maybe you could give them to Krish, who could give them to me? (Or, are you around during next week of busyness for Linz?)

Academic Advising? O.o;

I had one of those at George Brown... consisted of sitting around waiting... and waiting... and more of that waiting stuff, then I got to talk to a doode he told me "don't fail anymore classes" and "you shouldn't drink before e-mailing faculty... not everyone has the sense of humour that I do *Grin*" and then everything was fine.
