This morning smelled absolutely delicious! Green growing things & rich soil. Yepyep! It's a beautiful morning. Too bad it makes the allergies worse. But I will focus on the positive.

We now begin the portion of Ginny's journal where she complains about the things that are packed away. Like Pride & Prejudice. Or the bigger pots. (Sorry, Linz, the pasta might be a little starchy tonight.) I know, you're all thinking "but she just stopped complaining about all the packing to be done!" heh.

I saw the very first ever Doctor Who over the weekend. Um, wow! The series has come a long way! Especially the Doctor - he was all "nothing can be done, let's just leave them, you don't understand and I'm not going to try to make you". Frankly, the other male character was much more active in the story. The actress playing Susan reminded me a lot of Leslie Carron. That is good.

The Doctor in his first incarnation is always a bit tetchy, but it's only in the first couple stories that he's THAT bad - he quickly gets a lot more likeable. I recommend watching The Aztecs, a fabulous example of brilliant work by William Hartnell. It's also out on DVD.

Ah, the Daleks. 4 episodes of brilliantly handled tension, follwed by 3 episodes of wandering around a swamp. In many ways, the perfect sign of things to come for Doctor Who, showing both the wondrous and padded sides. :)

Speaking of Daleks they are on the next New Doctor Who. Should be fun. From the tiny bit of comercial I just caught they look almost exactly like the one in the old ones. "EXTERMINATE"
