Attn: Pen-o-philes!
Feb. 20th, 2005 10:22 amMy very first fountain pen is an Elysée, no longer made - boo! (So lovely, too, elegant green with golden flecks...)
The acrylic around the nib section just came loose, and spins without unthreading it (does that make sense?). I can still screw & unscrew it because there's a ¼" metal bit at the end, but if anyone knows how to fix this, can you let me know?
Linz, you might remember this as the same problem I had with that Lepine. I don't abuse my fountain pens, honest! *wail*

Date: 2005-02-21 03:18 pm (UTC)You can always send it to Bob - he'd do it for you. I have his number if you want (he was our vintage guy, and has done a lot of great work for me).
The problem is just getting the glue in there. But yeah, they'll "spot glue" it for you.
(And it has nothing to do with you abusing your pens, unless you sit there twisting the front bit all day long)...
Sorry for the delay in replying - just got back from Montreal!
