Yesterday, we have learned how to boil water. Today, we learn how to crack an egg.

I love Sabrina. Paris, Audrey Hepburn, ze crazy chef, Givenchy dresses... I could go on. (I actually also like the re-make. Don't hold it against me?)

The whole point of this? I was chopping chocolate, in preparation for making the brownies for tomorrow. I took the eggs out of the fridge (eggs should always be at room temperature before cooking with them), and put them in the groove of my cutting board, where they wouldn't roll around.

Chop chop chop chop, enjoying the catharsis of chopping chocolate - the satisfying cracking sound, the force used - when, *crunch!* Yep, I cracked one of 'em with the handle of the knife. Fortunately, I was able to rescue the egg, and I didn't even get shell fragments in it.

Had a bit of a fall-down on the writing front, but got back at it today.

I've been following the sun around my apartment. This morning, I sat and ate my breakfast on the floor in front of the TV, because that's where the puddle of sunshine was.
