Storing ginger?
Jan. 14th, 2005 10:00 amI have no idea how to store fresh ginger. I could look it up, I suppose, but instead, I ask my friends.
In the fridge? On the counter? In a cool dark place? In plastic? Not in plastic? Help a girl out.
This cold's not going away, and I'm getting tired of babying it. :-(

Date: 2005-01-14 07:21 am (UTC)I keep my ginger in a ziploc in the freezer. I take it out and grate or slice what I need and pop it back in. This works perfectly for me. It's much easier to grate frozen too!

I don't know if this is the *correct* or *best* method, though.
