Watch Pleasantville. If you've never seen it, go now, do not pass go, forget about the $200 — this is much better. If you have seen it, watch it again.
So good. So much fun. A little unsubtle in certain areas, but forgiveable. (And an entirely different experience now that my inner feminist has developed more.) Worth it just for the visuals. *_*
It's the reason I will always have a soft spot for Reese Witherspoon, regardless of movies like Sweet Home Alabama (shudder), and why Toby MacGuire will always be a gargantuan dork in my head.
[edit: I didn't properly explicitate: this was a re-watch. I first saw it in theatres and have seen it a few times since, but it'd been a couple of years since the last viewing.]
