Peak Freans Fruit Cream Cookies

First, I eat the top ring of cookie in 3 or 4 careful bites, leaving me with the bottom cookie, the filling and the yummy jam dot in the centre. Then, I eat around the jam, until I'm holding just that little fragment of cookie and jam. Then I eat that in two happy bites.

Ha! Take that grumpy grumbly mean-spirited old aunt who threatened to stop buying cookies with fillings just 'cause I took them apart before I ate them!

That's how I eat them, too. The blackcurrant flavoured ones are my favourite. The pottery studio is within wafting distance from a Peak Freans factory. It's very distracting.
