Wow! Thank god that's over!

I had such an icky day... headache-y and grumbly. I didn't even really feel like meeting Valerie after work, but since there was work going through the apartments sometime between 9 and 5, I also didn't want to be home if they came late in the day.

Then the rain came. I feel much better now. :-) And I had a lovely chat with Valerie. Sometimes, I get feeling that I'm going through the motions, and not properly there for my friends. But I did finally "arrive" at the conversation, and it was good.

And she'd just bought a lovely Colour Healing book from DK for $3.99 from Indigo. So, of course I had to go and pick that up. And then I found a book about Hollywood women and their struggles. And then a novel about Ovid... and then... and then... But I did get 5 books for $25, all but one of them hardcovers.

I did good. Now, I'm going to console the puppycat, who's still a little stressed about people - strange people - in her home.
