Whiny navel gazing--whee.

I've been having kind of a hard autumn. It's just a bunch of little things, nothing I can really combat or that anyone can help me with.

I'm pretty prone to snappishness, although I try to contain that. Please be patient with me if I have a containment field failure.

I'm still plugging away at French class. I realised this past weekend that the course is focusing too much on the test at the end and not enough on Actual French Skillz™. That was not a good time for an already stressed brain. I've talked to instructor a bit about it and I'll talk to mid-boss about it tomorrow. I've already registered (and paid) for the test. Wish me luck! (If I pass, it'll all be reimbursed by Dream Job™ [that is, of course, provided I don't convince mid-boss tomorrow that the whole thing was a mistake and it won't give me the French skillz to produce bilingual transcripts--either way, I can afford to take the financial hit {although I don't claim to be thrilled about the prospect} since no one wanted to take my money for a home].)

It really seems like the keyword for this season is échouer. :/

Also, I had a bad chamber day today. Some of it was not entirely my fault (although I maybe could've been a little more aware of something going on), but one thing was entirely my fault. Poor page. I hope he didn't get yelled at because I had the dumb. This week at work was hard. Fortunately, mini-boss agrees.

Really, I could just sum up with one word: *whine*
