ginny_tI transcribed the brownie recipe 'cause the directions were irritating as hell. Except I didn't put the cooking temperature in the new recipe. So I guessed. But slightly wrong. So the edges got a little overdone while the centre was cooking. :-(
Then, I didn't cook the brown sugar mixture enough, so the butterscotch is a little runny. At least I won't have to worry about the butterscotch getting too thick.
I know that a damp towel will burn 10 times faster than a dry. I learned that in my George Brown days. I didn't have to test it out for myself today.
And then I was about to hop in the shower, so I brushed my teeth. And then went to check on the butterscotch and decided I should put it into a new bowl, rather than trying to cool it in the hot pot. (sigh) And then I licked the spoon clean. So tasty! Then I brushed my teeth again.
Sigh. Now everything's just about done, the puppycat & I are going to sit on the balcony for a little while and then head over to Diana & Mark's place. Hopefully, I've reached my idiocy quotient for the day.
