ginny_tI went looking for confirmation of the rumour that I heard about actors being signed to do Star Wars 7-9. However, I hurt my brain too much - there's a lot of stuff out there. Most of it traumatising to my old-school fandom. (There is no movie called "A New Hope". Yes, the marquis scrolling as the fanfare played read "Episode IV: A New Hope", but the tickets said "Star Wars", the movie poster said "Star Wars", the movie was called "Star Wars".)
Sorry, deep breath. As you can see, I'm hoping the rumour I heard awhile back was just that: a rumour. I plan to get rather tipsy, see the travesty that will probably be Episode III, and hope that Lucas stops pissing on my childhood.

When Star Wars was first released, it didn't have the "Episode IV" inscribed in the crawl. That was added at least a year after its original release in 1977.'
