The streets of the city smell bad. Actually, it's probably the sidewalks. I've been noticing it for a couple of weeks, but this morning, it was particularly bad. A combination of the heat and the street festival.

Wasn't I restrained in not complaining about the street festival? I even sort of went to it on Friday night. Well, when 4 people want to check it out, it would be churlish of me to say no. But I do have something to say, aside from "don't make a mess of my neighbourhood you freakin' tourists!" Why the heck did they put every single stage at a crossroad?

I was going to Bay on Saturday, and there was a stage at Yonge & Charles. Right at Yonge & Charles. So anyone wanting to turn there would have to funnel around the stage. Sigh.

It was icky and muggy and still this morning. We're going to get a wicked thunderstorm.

Eee. The Street Festival was hell on my weekend (which I spent in the store right south of that Bloor stage). I did not breathe for either shift, I think, and stupid tourist suburbanites seem to like to complain about stupid little things when I'm obviously busy.

Argh. Good thing it's only once a year.
