This morning, I was treated to links from Ferd. Sick twisted links. I should've stopped after the first one. Then I wouldn't feel so awful for giggling at something so sick & twisted.

Of course, the horror of that was completely erased when I saw a Catwoman ad on a bus. Every time I see that, I have to suppress a shriek (why does that word never look right?) of horror.

Then I opened up Windows Media Player (it's the only music player I have on my work computer) and there was Kiera Knightley as "Guinevere". Aaaaarrgh! Why?!? Why does the world hate Ginny so?

Catwoman looks like it could actually be worse than Batman and Robin, something that I did not think would ever, ever happen. Catwoman may actually cause people to kill themselves in the theater from shame at having paid money for it.

I think the only thing that this movie has going for it is Halle Berry in Leather. And maybe the "acting catty" all the time. But that's it.

I don't know what the deal is with casting Halle Berry as Catwoman. She doesn't look like she could *do* any of the required things for the movie. Like, I wouldn't expect her to be able to actually fight someone without snapping. (And what's up with the outfit?)

Hee hee. There was a really great thing in a graphic novel I read. I think it was in Squee by Jhonen Vasquez. There was a parody of superheros and the female character was so over-endowed that she snapped in half. It was much funniness. I have to find that again.

(And I can think of no possible explanation for that outfit. *shakes head*)

You're right aboot the word "shriek"

Then again, "Shreik" is no better, it merely conjurs images of a screaming Muslim ruler. =/

Maybe we should just get around to altering words to the way they sound and start using "shreek", ne?

Doubleplusgood.

PS- yeah, watch out for the Ferd links, they can kill... :P
