Jul. 5th, 2004 08:44 amWith ballet over, I thought I might actually have a break from bruises, aches & the like. No such luck. Caught my thumb in Jason's car door, banged my elbow off his aquarium, and my legs are strangely ache-y (fine when I wake up, bur walk anywhere, sit & then they hurt like heck!). Sigh.
My "favourite" co-worker is back. Already got pissy at us because neither of us did her mail distribution. Very loudly she said: "Fine, I'm not doing any mail for either of you." Um, well, you weren't before.
Yep, didn't miss her wheezing or her noisy flippy-floppy shoes. 179 days 'til the deadline. Is it too early to start counting that down?
Oddly enough, in spite of the general grumbliness above, I'm in a fairly good mood.

Date: 2004-07-05 06:37 am (UTC)I get today off, due to the US not wanting to waste a Federal Holiday on a Sunday, so am sitting and vegging out. Watching Alien from LA, one of my favorite MST3K episodes. Later today I am going to get a haircut.
...you can see why I don't talk about my social life on my LJ. ^^;;;

Date: 2004-07-05 06:51 am (UTC)I have a question: another friend (in the US) doesn't get the day off 'cause his company policy is that since it was on a Sunday, today's business as usual & they're SOL. In Canada, it's required to give another day when the holiday falls on a weekend. Is it not the same down there?
