Jul. 18th, 2009 08:23 amSo, I call up the employee assistance program that the Leg offers us. I say I work for the Ontario Leg Assembly. Long pause, hold, wait, bad music. Oh, it's under Leg Assembly of Ontario. Praise me, for I did not explain how that was either severe database fail or PEBCAK.
I was calling because homebuying fever is going around, and that's one of the items on operation: get your shit together, you lazy git!, so I wanted advice and a reality check. Turns out it's not entirely unreasonable of me to consider such a thing. I will now cower in fear for a while.
In other news, having intense and strange dreams after finishing the Lathe of Heaven is kind of spooky. Also, dreams were strange and intense.
Finally (for now), because
cristalia talked about it enough (as so bad it crosses over to so-bad-it's-worth-watching-[maybe]), I checked out True Blood. Yeah, I didn't make it through one episode. Oh well.
Waking up at the start of a weekend free of all plans but knitting and getting my shit together with slightly sore forearms is not a good start. *sigh*
