Feb. 11th, 2005 10:20 pmA little better, a little knitting, dimmed the lights, a little tea, the head stops screaming at me.

vampy_chan's list (which is more than 3!):
1) Voyeuristic kitties
2) A bright sunny day, with green grass, blue skies and purple violets
3) The smell of the ocean and a warm summer breeze

A gentle breeze, warmed by the summer sun, brushed across them like a caress. The salty ocean tang in the air was like the taste of his skin.
She shuddered slightly.
"You okay?"
"Mm-hm, just cooling down."
He pulled her closer, ran his hand up her spine. "Better?"
She didn't answer, but nestled into his embrace, completely relaxed and trusting. Her mind wandered lazily through happy thoughts when she heard something she wasn't expecting. She lifted her head and looked. It was indeed a cat purring, quite heavily. He turned his head to look also.
"I thought you said no one would come here."
The one I was planning to write next was delayed, because I couldn't get it to be as smart as I want it. Rather than fighting with it & feeling stupid, I went around. :-D
