The sweater whispered to me of November. It spoke of brisk winds, damp and cold; of the rustle of leaves, dead on the ground; of skies gray and heavy and close; of sunshine so weak and thin it neither warms nor properly lights. So, um, yeah, I didn't make it to the meet-up last night. Sorry about that, I was looking forward to seeing all of you.

Fortunately, I'm feeling much better this morning, all back to myself. But yikes! this morning was cold! Summer is winding down.
